My Dar-es-Salaam is a premium lifestyle platform, with a highly engaged readership who come to us for the latest in dining, beauty, fashion, attractions, what’s on and more.

We’re looking for a talented and experienced sales manager to join our successful team with a strong client network, huge personal drive to succeed and a passion for media sales.

This is a high-adrenaline sales role requiring industry expertise, contacts and proven sales success. We’re looking for someone who gets our business, lives our brand, and wants to work hard, play hard in a fast-growing company with amazing opportunities ahead.

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

  • Create and manage a revenue pipeline of clients.
  • Create, pitch, close new business and exceed sales targets by using a strong solution-based sales approach.
  • Communicate vision and strategy effectively with potential and current clients.

  • Highly self-motivated, confident, focused individual.
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to ideate and create engaging campaign proposals.
  • Exceptional proposal writing skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years digital media sales experience from an agency or media company is essential.
